Auditions

Each season we produce concerts in October, December, March and May. In addition to these performances by the main 90-voice choir, one other program is usually presented by our chamber ensemble, Concentus. When you audition to join the choir, we assume that you are committing to an entire season of singing, and preference will be given to those members who can sing all the concerts. However, we know that everyone’s life does not always fit choir calendars, and we are open to discussion about your time scheduling needs. While we do auditon people throughout the year if there are openings, the majority of our auditions are held during the summer when all members re-audition and when all seats are open. Joining the choir at a later date will depend upon the discretion of the Musical Director and will be based upon his assessment of your ability to catch up with any missed rehearsals, since we often rehearse for two concerts at the same time.

The choir meets regularly on Tuesday nights from 7-10 PM from late August through May, at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, 678 Portola Drive, San Francisco.
