Bach's Missae breves—each containing only a Kyrie and Gloria - stand out as some of his finest choral writing.  Also known as the Lutheran Masses, these works encompass elements from the austere contrupuntal style of the late Renaissance to the modern ebullient concertato style.  With Vivaldi's Oboe Concerto in F Major, RV455, our program of small gems is not to be missed.
