The San Francisco Bach Choir presents high-quality choral concerts from a special early-music perspective, drawing its volunteer singing membership from the Bay Area's large community of trained but non-professional musicians. Our programming includes not only the work of J.S. Bach but also explores the extensive repertoire from the early North German composers whose preceded and informed the tradition from which he wrote.

The ninety-voice volunteer choir will be holding auditions throughout August and September for its upcoming season and again as needed after each concert. Specializing in innovative programming and historical singing styles, the group has openings in all sections for experienced choral singers with good musical skills and an enthusiasm for participating in an active and dynamic musical organization.
